Institutional Review Board

The USC Health Sciences Institutional Review Board (IRB) is a panel of 36 scientists, researchers and others in the community who review and approve proposals for clinical trials at the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center and its affiliated hospitals at USC. The board is responsible for reviewing each proposal for safety and ethical issues and ensure the protection of patients participating in research projects.
